Harvest Time

In September 2018, as I was spending time with God, he told me something.

God told me two things. First thing was, this is the time of harvest. The second thing, take communion. There is something we have to remember, when God gives us a word.

Mark 4 King James Version (KJV)

14 The sower soweth the word.

15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

We have to remember that Satan comes immediately to take the word that God have sown into our heart. That can mean that everything naturally around us looks contradictory to the word of God. It can also mean that distractions can come. And it can also mean that Satan will try and speak a word contradicting the word of God. Satan is trying to choke the word God has sown in us so the weeds that he spoke can overgrow the good word of God. Satan can not stop what God has released so he tries to get us to doubt or even abandon the word.

So, when God told me his word in September of 2018, I was in transition. I was and still am living in a fixed garage, at the time of this post. I did not have that much money at the time. I told my family and I told the church the word of God. I’ve learned from my Pastor that when you release the word of God, it is up to the receivers to receive the word. I use to be that person that tried to push people to receive a word, especially when I know they have been praying for change. I thank God, I am no longer that person. Everyone has free will and I will not go against that.

My family and I did not have the communion prepacked cups with crackers that’s sold on the market. We did have dried flat toast and I was able to purchase a small grape juice. We sat together in the garage of a person’s home and we broke bread together and drank. We did not have the whole Passover meal like Jesus, but we thanked him and obeyed him, anyway. From that time until now, I have been professing the word of God about Harvest. I know the word of God can not fail.

Let me tell you it has been a fight to continually profess and declare the word of God, until now. Satan of course has raised his evil head over and over again.

There was one instance, among the many that I want to tell you about. It was late at night, around midnight. Me and the family were relaxing in the garage of a home. My niece tends to go in and out a lot. The house has a fencing gate. Well, this night , my niece left the fence gate open. We have two dogs. A brown Dog name Duke and white dog name Asher. Duke is a very territorial dog and likes to go to neighboring yards to mark the area. Asher is a dog that likes to follow Duke around. When Duke sees the gate open, he will take off full speed. He will start going neighbor to neighbor to sprinkle a little urine on each lot.

We did not know that my niece did not close the gate. The dogs were outside. When it was time to let the dogs in; that is when we realized the gate was opened and no dogs in site. OK at that point, my niece felt bad and started crying because she allowed the dogs to get loose. My daughter was in a panic because she had already lost her first dog, Prince, many years ago. The experience of losing Prince was very hard for all of us.

All four of us went on a retrieve and rescue mission. We have seen so many dogs dead on the road from being ran over by vehicles; we did not want that fate for Asher and Duke. My sister was angry, not at her daughter, but at the situation. With all the emotions going around, I started to feel scared and started crying. But I remembered something God told me. God told me, this is the season of Harvest. As I went in my car to search the neighborhood; I got angry. I wiped the tears away and allowed the Holy anger to take over.

I said, “God you told me that this is the season of Harvest. God according to your word, I am NOT loosing anything tonight.” I said,” God, release our angels to guide and direct our dogs to me. Show me which direction to take, Father.”

I felt to go to the right and keep going until I reached the water canal. Listen, Satan did not let up. As I was trying to follow the direction, an irate driver was behind me. The person was revving and jerking behind me with their SUV and blowing for me to hurry up. I want you to know that my emergency lights were on the whole time since I got in my vehicle. I did not allow the person to distract me because I knew exactly why I was driving slow. While I was praying, I was also binding all car accidents with our dogs.

As I turned to drive parallel to the canal; I saw green eyes coming towards me. I knew they were Asher’s eyes. I was so happy. The irate driver that was behind me was happy I pulled off the road. The driver sped from behind me and took off down the road. The driver almost ran over Asher, but Asher darted to the side. This is significant because Asher was mostly blind. Asher did not see me, so he ran right by me. I was calling his name and he ran right by me. Duke on the other hand has perfect dogie vision. Duke saw me and ran to me. He was so happy. I put him down again so he could get Asher. He got Asher’s attention and I finally had both dogs in my vehicle.

When we are close to what we are believing God for; expect a fight. Satan wants you to abandon the word of God. If he can not do that, he will try to distract you or even scare you. If you know God has told you something, DO NOT let it go. Hold on to the word of God. Let every creature see that God Did It. God is a promise keeper.

Note. The person that was behind me in the vehicle was not Satan. It was a normal human being that Satan decided to use to try and scare me. Uh, HMM… NOT!

I am here to proclaim the word of the Lord. IT… IS… HARVEST TIME!

Believe and Receive, in the name of Jesus!
