Armour of God Ephesians 6:13-17, continued.

In part one of Fully Armoured, we covered : the loins of truth and the breast plate of righteousness. Let’s continue to verse 15.

Verse 15. Feet shod (wearing footgear) with the preparation (the action or process of making something ready for use or service, or getting ready for some occasion, task, or duty) of the gospel of peace. Always be ready with the gospel of peace everywhere we go. Satan will and influence others in our lives to attack us so we can give up our peace (sound mind).Loss of peace can lead us into holding unforgiveness towards others. Isaiah 26:3-³ Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Phillipians 4:7-⁷ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Verse 16. Above all (top it off) take(possess, receive, own it) the shield of faith. Faith is: ¹ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1).

Ephesians 2:8 (KJV). “⁸ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

Matthew 17:20 (KJV).”²⁰ And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

Luke 17:6 (KJV).”⁶ And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.”

Verse 17. Take on the helmet of salvation. The helmet of salvation is freely given to whomever wants it. The helmet protects the head and brain from the foolishness of the enemy; For example, bringing up the past and you have already repented (turned away) of.

* Note*. Cast down every high imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…(2 Corinthians 10:5)

God said your saved; then your saved, period. End of discussion. Without the helmet of salvation; we can not be a child of God. We have no covering without the helmet of salvation. Satan can and WILL attack us. We have no power without the helmet of salvation. Ephesians 2:8 (KJV). “⁸ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” 2 Corinthians 2:15 (KJV).”¹⁵ For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:”

Verse 17. Sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. To fight the enemy, we must possess the word of God and know it. The ministering angels responds to the word of God. Satan and his demons also respond to the word of God. Isaiah 55:11-¹¹ So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. God’s word must and WILL work on the enemy (Satan) and obstacles in life

. 2 Corinthians 1:20-²⁰ For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Yea means yes (God agrees with his spoken word). Amen means so be it ( God’s stamp of approval, completed, his word has already started working in the spiritual realm and will be manifested in the natural realm.)
