In the bible we see many scriptures about trusting and believing God. Having faith in God and knowing without a doubt that he hears our prayers and will answer them. If we say we believe in God; why is it so hard for us to trust him?
If you have a digital bible; I want you to type in the search box, “trust”, “believe”, “faith” and read all those scriptures. We will find out that the blessings of God manifested in the natural, stems from the words above.
Well, God has called me out as he has called many before me. He called me to come out of my comfort zone of self sufficiency and into a state of dependency in him. Let me tell you. Having a ministry is not what I thought it would be like. I thought that when I obeyed God; he would immediately restore everything I lost, instantaneously. When I brought my feelings to God; he brought the story of Lazarus to me.
News got to Jesus that Lazarus was sick and dying and instead of immediately dropping everything and running to him; he stayed longer ministering to the people. Can you imagine how Mary and Martha felt. Jesus is a very good friend of these women. I can just see it now. Jesus taking his time walking up like nothing bad happened. I can imagine the tears and grief Mary and Martha felt, like all hope was lost. I mean, Lazarus has been dead for several days already. Any hope of revival in Mary’s and Martha’s minds were broken. They probably stayed up all night crying, screaming and confused all at the same time. And then imagine they feel like nothing else can be done at this point. They have heard of Jesus bringing back the dead, but after 3 days, that was too much.
Jesus is walking up casually and matter-of-factly. Jesus is not crying with them because a loved one is gone.
Instead of Jesus crying with YOU because all the lost you have been through; Jesus says roll back the stone. Open up that stony heart that is affected by what you see and he will give you a new heart and a new spirit. We say, Jesus, but we have a lost so much. Jesus say “I AM THE RESSURECTION”. Jesus says, “because you trust in me, I will restore everything you have lost. Whatever good thing died in your life; I will bring in back 30, 60, 100 fold.”
That’s where I am right now. I am sure that’s where many of you are also. I am urging you to trust in God and hold fast to his word. I am believing God for a roof over my head and my family and I believe and I trust him. Matthew 6:33. Believe… It is time!
To help support the ministry please consider making an offering and when you make an offering use the word of God to back it up. Be blessed.
