You’re worth it part 3
We have said in part 1 and part2, why you are worth it, from God’s perspective. Now you are going to find out why you are worth it, from Satan’s perspective. Satan knows you’re worth it. That’s why Satan will do everything possible he can think. He wants to distract you because Satan cannot do anything to you, unless you have allowed it both through welcoming him in knowingly and also through ignorance. (This is, not knowing the word of god through reading the bible, speaking to god, praying to god, basically a personal relationship with god.)
It’s time to know your enemy. The fallen angel, who tries to make your life difficult and unbearable, by piling on lots of obstacles, so you can give up your place in heaven. The bible says Jesus came to the world, not to condemn the world, but the world through him might be saved (John 3:17). Satan’s name was Lucifer, which means light bearer, Day Star, Son of the morning. Ezekiel 28:11-19, lets us know lots about Lucifer then and called Satan now. Satan was perfect in beauty, full of wisdom; he glowed with radiance, his voice musical. He was THE anointed cherub. He was able to walk up and down in front of the throne of god. This is important to know about your enemy Satan. Satan “had it all”, he was the only angel that was anointed like this and able to walk in front of God all the time. He blinded himself through jealousy of God. Satan wanted to be God. (Isaiah 14:12-14). Imagine an angel so powerful and all the other angels know the power that god gave him. Verse 17, tells of how Satan got vain and prideful. Verse 18, tells how Satan corrupted the places of worship, he was keeping the glory for himself, instead of taking it to God. Before this earth that we know of, there was another place here with other people, before Adam and Eve, but that place was destroyed. Genesis 1:1-3. As a result of Satan’s sins and refusal to repent, he lost his powerful position and got thrown out of heaven (Isaiah 14:14). Not only did he get kicked out of heaven with 1/3 of the angels that were foolish enough to follow him; God stripped him of all his power, authority, weapons, and most of all , his position as the anointed cherub(Colossians 2:15). All of this info about Satan lets you know that Satan is angry, and out for revenge. Satan wants you destroyed. The name Satan means accuser. He brings up things that you have done in the past. Satan rehashes things that you have already repented to god for, to keep you from advancing in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Remember you are made in gods image and likeness (Genesis 1:26). You are Gods offspring (Acts 17:28). Jesus gave you the power to crush anything Satan and his demons can throw at you ( Luke 10:19).
Jesus says you’re worth it, God says you’re worth it. Satan knows you’re worth it. Do you know you’re worth it? Stop having the pity parties, and walk in your power and authority through Jesus Christ, who died for you.
