Come! Be Separate.

Colossians 1:12-14,”12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

God has knowingly and willingly taken us back into his kingdom, of his son Jesus Christ. Why knowingly… because he knew how weak we were and how we would fall repeatedly. But yet, willingly to love us through all our “issues” to send his son to save us. Not only to just save us, but also to guide us daily with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus was not forced to die for our sins. John 10:15-18,”15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.” Jesus made a conscious choice.

We have made the decision to no longer go into the powers of darkness, but to accept and stay in the kingdom of God’s dear son. Let’s put it this way… if we were slaves right now. And someone came and paid our slave master for us;  then turned around and set us free, to no longer be a slave. Not only did the person pay our slave master and then let us go free, but also told us we can use his name for anything we needed and wanted. To top it off , he wrote down the agreement on paper and handed it to us.

After we were freed, we decided to go back to the original slave master who abused us, used us and degraded us. While we were in slavery for the second time, we saw another slave and told the other slave what happened. Can we imagine the looks and comments from the other slave. That other slave might turn around and ask us several times, ” What did you say that man’s name was?” That other slave would go to the slave master and use that name so he can be free.

Well, that’s the same kind of things we are doing now. Jesus said,” who he has made free is free indeed.” God also backed up his words in writing, through the prophets, the Holy Bible. God has called us to accept him and take hold of freedom.  Come and be Free!Pretty girl over blue sky looking at the sunIf this site has helped you in the word of God, we encourage you to support us.
