Matthew 14:13-17 and Matthew 15:32-38, Jesus feeds the multitudes. In  2 Kings 4:2 God multiplies the little to make much. What does these scriptures have in common? These scriptures are about God as our provider (Jehovah Jireh). Take some time and read these scriptures because they will help you to better understand what I’m about to write. God knows exactly what we are in need of. He not only provides enough for us, but also to bless others. Our Lord Jesus Christ not only feed the multitudes in the new testament, but he also picked up the left over and did not throw them on the ground and left them. In other words, he was not wasteful with the blessing. In the old testament God blessed the woman with oil to pay her debts.

With the blessing noted above, God gave specific instructions to follow. After the instructions are followed; the people were blessed. After the people are blessed, notice there’s no willful wasting of the blessings.

Ok, what does that say for us women? I was guilty of the same thing I am about to say. I had been in a situation where I asked God to blessed me out of. After God had blessed me with what I asked for; I went and did something else other than what I asked. I was wasteful with the blessing.  Something else came up and I went and paid that instead. Not only does that make us liars but also unreliable. God wants and loves to bless us. After all he has in his word, that he hopes above all things that we prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers.( peace in finance, in health, and peaceful mind). When God blesses us with what seems like a lot to us, we tend to try and mess it up. We are wasteful and get prideful. If Jesus himself was not and is not wasteful, who are we to be wasteful. Lets all of us take a lesson from Jesus.

We are making a vow today, in the name of Jesus. When God blesses us, we will not waste it. We will save. So we can in return help someone else.
